Graeme has held a number of roles within the Liverpool, Truro and Blackburn dioceses over the past 20 years. He began his current role as Diocesan Secretary and Chief Operating Officer within the Diocese of Blackburn nine years ago.

As well as being involved with the Board of Education in setting up the Diocese Multi-Academy Trust, he is a member of the Bishop’s Leadership Team and holds a wide range of strategic and operational responsibilities.

Graeme also holds a number of roles outside of the Blackburn Diocese. He is Chair of the Diocesan Secretaries Liaison Group which represents all 43 Diocesan Secretaries and Chief Executives nationally, and he has been a Trustee Director of CCLA Investment Management Limited, a London-based company which looks after £2billion of church, voluntary sector and local authority funds since 2010.

He became a governor at his local community high school in 2008 and became Vice-Chair of governors in 2010.
