Vision Statement

Together at Castle View Primary Academy we strive for all children to become independent and confident learners. We enable children to achieve their potential within a creative and challenging curriculum delivered through high quality teaching. We nurture a positive environment where adults and children respect each other within a safe and caring community.

Our Ethos:

Achieving Together

Our Values:

Pride, respect, honesty, responsibility, self belief, perseverance, friendship, optimism, curiosity, forgiveness, courage and tolerance.

We are a small community Academy situated on the Ridge estate with stunning views over Lancaster and Morecambe Bay. Our Academy is a happy and caring place at the heart of the community we serve, and the children are at the centre of all that we do. Our hard-working and dedicated staff work closely with parents to develop positive relationships and create an environment where children can flourish.

We want our children to become confident, well-educated citizens of the future and develop a life-long love of learning. To this end, we have designed a curriculum which is stimulating and relevant for our children with opportunities for them to shine in a number of different areas.

We are very fortunate to have extensive outdoor space which includes a large football field, two playgrounds, a trim trail for the older pupils, a willow den and an adventure playground for our Key Stage One pupils. Internally, our Academy has seven classrooms spread over two floors, with plenty of space for additional learning in small groups.
